Our past comes by...

Have you ever wondered why certain TV shows are so successful? As an example we have: Beverly Hills 90210, The Big Bang Theory and of course Friends.

Some years ago I remember I read something about a study of the brain, saying that it takes on average 7 years to process certain types of information, for example  if we have an event  today, in 7 years we will be able to assimilate it (truth or false? You decide).

But does this principle applies to TV series ?, well it´s very simple as a matter of fact, for example let´s start with BH90210 with us as students, back to  time where each character is a representation of a group of people, the popular girl, the lover, the sportsman, the new, tender, the one which is going through a divorce of their parents and don´t know how to handle it, we all saw something similar with someone at school, seeing how things are developing in his/her life until he finally managed to graduate and each one gets its way. A very popular series in the 90's because the "want to be."

Recently this "the big bang theory," which shows the life of the "nerd" as always in every film criticism where they appear, even when Homer Simpson went to college, but after all, we have the oportunity to see a face they may not admit of a nerd, they  are fun. We all had a "halo night" and even forget the goal of the game and just hit our partner. Or such a love for movies, comics, we all go through that at some time, I remember when I personally fell in buying comics, especially because of the death of superman, an epic event that continued with the resurrection and 4 that claimed to be the original.

Well if we talk about the epitome of such representations of friends, is obviously "friends", of course the others are different times in our lives, but strangely "friends" is very different from the others because of the importance on frame TV, not for free they had  10 seasons and also a special chapter in the series final, where we see growth and evolution of the characters.

This is a representation of many parts that probably we all had or wanted, for example how many of us wanted one day to be in an apartment with friends, because of the series or just by  our own? Having a friend who has no job and watching how it evolves in this area, the one which is always in the shadow of his parents and when goes out, realizes that things were not like those painted from the inside. The interpersonal relationships of each, where such a relationship of friendship becomes something more, in the circle of friends there are always those who finished and returned as Ross and Rachel, for this and other implications I think this is the model of series, but beside everything they lived on, there is just one common fact, and I think it is something most of us appreciated: a true and unconditional friendship.

Because of the 7 years we need to give our brain to work, we have such fresh memories, and such hopes that it might happen soon.
